This is a little about myself and why I created the following groups,
Mental Health Crisis Group, and the Great Outdoors Pursuit Experience, and also the New Website Mental Health Awareness, To give something back to our community, and beyond, and to get all GROUPS, that support you in your Mental Health, and wellbeing,
My name is Paul Haydock and I am the founder of the Mental Health Crisis group. I am 57 years old and have two daughters (who mean everything to me). First and fore most I am also a Veteran of the Royal Corp of Transport which I proudly served, Last year, I suffered a break-down as the culmination of a period of poor mental health. During this period, I received superb support, and as such have wanted to give back to both the local community and beyond, recognising that mental illness is not just something that impacts people in the UK.
With this in mind, I have created a Facebook group called Mental Health Crisis. The intention of this group is to promote mental health awareness in all areas of the community, challenging the still pervasive stigma surrounding mental health issues.
We are here to support you in your time of need, to share your own experience with others that have suffered the same, speak up, shout out.
Come along and Join our Journey to recovery, stay safe and take care
Please note we are not a professional body, this Website and our group page on Facebook, is about sharing your own experience with others that have suffered. If you are in need of urgent help please contact your GP, Hospital etc. Take care and stay safe
